All about the Buttery Stack
Buttery Stack may not sound serious, butter we’re dead serious about the great ops tools founders are using to build lean, high-performing startups.
The Buttery Stack directory was launched in a day in order to have a web asset to assist in my maximalist job search, which I launched and began on @September 4, 2024. Everything I’m doing will be shared here and on LinkedIn.
About me
Hey there! My name is Kyle, I’m an immigrant, entrepreneur and former founder living in Norway. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and now call Oslo home. I’m a cross-functional operations generalist with 6+ years experience working with Seed and Series A startups in different industries across domain functions. I’m now looking for work and want to help build a truly great company for the long-term.
My job #huntatscale goals
My goal is to find full-time, long-term work at a kind and ambitious startup. My experience comes almost exclusively from working with Seed and Series A startups in B2B (some B2G or B2B2C flavor), so in that sense I’m not looking to reinvent the wheel. I want to work at a company with a positive impact, whether it be on agricultural or energy systems, etc, but some pure SaaS plays or AI startups will surely be interesting given my love of great software. More than anything, I’m open to being surprised by what I don’t know.
Role wise, as an ops generalist I want to work alongside founders and leaders to build great companies — think Chief of Staff, Head of Growth, COO, or for later stage companies an FA or Operations Manager would fit well. That being said, my experience also allows me to establish and build upon core marketing, sales, customer support functions and elsewhere I’d want to contribute here even if I’m not your next CMO.
