It’s crazy to think it was years ago I was hosting the main stage on behalf of Mesh Community and together with the wonderful Kristin Assad.
Some 6 months after Mesh acquired my startup Scales’ IP and brought me onto the team, I was up on stage trying to make light of my fear of public speaking!!
You might wonder why someone who is afraid of public speaking would want to be a main stage host — that’s exactly why, you have to lean into the discomfort.
It’s likewise interesting to look back and imagine how hard it would be to move on from this role to find work that was both challenging and meaningful.
I wish I was at TechBBQ right now Sam!!
Just tuning in? 👀
