Hey Friday gang — guess what, I really don’t like posting on social media, LinkedIn included 😨
I don’t like knowing that hundreds or thousands are seeing what I write. I don’t like knowing that people I know in real life see my posts, my asks for support, and can still ignore it. And I certainly don’t like the notification count that tells me whether I’m “succeeding or failing” in my efforts to find work in this way.
So you might be wondering why I’m posting every day, or how long I can keep it up. The hard reality for most founders is that they need to post all the time, they need to establish an online presence and credibility around themselves and their brand.
Founders need to appreciate that the ROI for social media is going to take months or years to be realized.
But you still need that content calendar from day 1 📅
I don’t have the luxury to wait another year for the right job, so I’m trying to accelerate the timeline with a relevant body of content that can support my search — best viewed as a whole from the blog at Buttery Stack.
Just tuning in? 👀
I’m searching for an ambitious, cross-functional ops role at a Seed / Series A+ startup that is both kind and ambitious.
